JOB SUMMARY: Provides a variety of professional psychological services to help children and youth succeed academically, socially, behaviorally, and emotionally. Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to create safe, healthy, and supportive learning environments that strengthen connections between home, school, and the community for all students. This is a 2-year grant funded position.



  1. Minimum requirement of a Master's Degree in School Psychology.
  2. Possession of or eligibility for a Maryland Standard Professional Certificate with a school psychologist endorsement is required.
  3. 1,200 clock hours experience in a school psychology internship program approved by and under the direction of an institution of higher education which has an approved program in school psychology, or two years of successful experience providing psychological services to children in an educational setting under the direction of an individual certifiable as a school psychologist.
  4. Knowledge of the provision of psychological services to students and their families.
  5.  Other knowledge, skills, and abilities:  Technology competency. Knowledge of and skill in the use of database, internet, spreadsheet, word processing, and related applications. Knowledge of and skill in data analysis.

PAY & HOURS:  This position is an 10-month position with a minimum of 37.5 hours per week.  Caroline County Board of Education, Teacher Salary Scale. Placement on the appropriate salary lane/step will be based on knowledge, experience, skills and abilities related to this position.
